Having read some of the reviews from other Amazon clients about this product regarding breaking guards, breaking line feed and sundry other problems I was a bit apprehensive when I first switched it on. I needn't have worried. It behaved perfectly even though my lawn is sloping and the grass was about fifteen inches high. The only time the line broke was when I inadvertently let the power cable get caught in the line....silly me. This is a great grass trimmer and a bargain at ten pounds less than the Amazon price. Five stars all the way. Glad I bought it and my only comment to those who curse it is ; you didn't read the instructions properly or you can't use a grass trimmer.
