Direct replacement for one whoes head spoon off into the long grass when a plastic joint(why was it plastic, may be to keep cost dowm?) sheared off. This one has a metal joint and works fine , hopefully for years!

I bought theALT03 as part of a package with the power unit.
Like all strimmers that aren't aimed at commercial use it has it's ups and down. Mostly that is with the strimmer line feed which, like many seems to occasionally 'weld' itself together in the feed cassette.
Over all though it works very well and is better than many.
